Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use mediacitydesign.com, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most commonly used to evaluate website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What we do
- We test every page. Each public page is checked on desktop and mobile with the axe-core accessibility engine against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA. Our most recent review, on October 18, 2026, found no failures.
- Readable contrast. Text and controls meet AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for regular text, 3:1 for large text).
- Keyboard access. Everything can be reached with the keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful images have descriptions; purely decorative images and animations are hidden from screen readers.
- Labeled forms. Every form field has a visible label.
- Control over motion. Animations and background videos have no sound and can be stopped with the “Pause animations” button in the footer (and on the homepage). If your device is set to reduce motion, we turn the animations off for you.
Known limitations
Some content comes from other companies and is outside our control, such as the map on our contact page (loaded only if you choose to show it), payment pages hosted by Stripe, and the client websites we link to from our portfolio. If any of these get in your way, contact us and we'll help directly.
Tell us if something doesn't work
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or you need information in a different format, please let us know. Tell us the page and what happened, and we'll work with you to get you the information or service another way.

Ongoing work
Accessibility is part of how we build and update this site, not a one-time check. We re-test after changes and review this statement regularly.
