Ecommerce websites that make buying simple.
We design and build online stores and retail websites that make it easy to find the right thing and buy it, on Wix when you want to run the store yourself, or in custom code with Stripe when your ordering has its own rules.
What it costs, and what you get.
Online stores start at $5,900 and typically take 6–10 weeks. That covers a product catalog, cart and checkout, built on Wix or in custom code with Stripe. Platform and payment fees are separate and are paid directly to those providers.
Four shops, four different ways to sell.
A salon, a caterer, an artist and a merch shop need different things from a store. That is why we start with what you sell and how it reaches the customer.
| Shop | What it sells | What makes it different | Built with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Queen of the Nile | Hair and skin products, membership packages and gift cards | The shop sits alongside service booking, with filters for product type, price, color and size. | Wix Studio |
| Pinkelicious Catering | "Pink Bag It" lunch boxes for meetings and offices | Customers build each bag, and the form enforces a 10-bag minimum and a delivery date rule. Event catering stays a quote, never an online charge. | Custom code, Stripe checkout |
| NVee Arts (opens in a new tab) | Original fluid acrylic art and mixed media pieces | Work is presented in collections, with a cart, shipping at checkout and a route for custom commissions. | Custom code, Stripe checkout |
| Burbank Merch (opens in a new tab) (our own shop) | Original apparel and accessories inspired by Burbank | Products are organized by collection, with a separate path for custom merch for local teams and schools. | Built and run by us |
Two good routes. Your products decide.
A store on Wix
- Best for: teams who want to update products themselves.
- Wix's store tools handle products, cart and payments, and you edit in a visual editor.
- We design inside Wix Studio and train you at handoff.
- The site runs on Wix's hosting, under a Wix plan (opens in a new tab).
Custom code with Stripe
- Best for: order rules or a buying experience a standard store won't support.
- We build the catalog and order flow, and Stripe's secure checkout takes the payment.
- A standard codebase that isn't tied to a site-builder plan.
- Stripe charges its own fees (opens in a new tab), and hosting and updates are separate monthly plans.
Retail and ecommerce websites.
A retail website doesn't have to sell everything online to do its job. For many stores, the work is telling people what is in stock, what is on promotion, what services you offer and when you are open, so they come in ready to buy.
Our redesign for Burbank Ammo & Guns (opens in a new tab), a family-owned Burbank retailer, is a store website of this kind, built around current promotions, consignment and store hours. Burbank Merch, our own shop, is the other kind: online sales are the main event.
If you are not sure which one you need, start with what your customers do today. We can also start with a store website and add selling later. Our guide to a high-converting small business website covers the basics.
What to have ready for a store build
- Products: names, descriptions, prices and variations such as size or color.
- Photos: clear images of each product. Custom photography is an optional add-on.
- Fulfillment: how orders reach customers, including shipping, pickup or delivery rules.
- Policies: returns, exchanges and shipping, in your own words.
- Sales tax: ask your accountant what applies to you, and we will set the store up to match.
After launch.
Custom-coded stores can run on our managed hosting, from $25 a month, while Wix stores run on Wix. For ongoing help, our maintenance plans run from $50 to $200 a month. Want shoppers to find you? See SEO services and email marketing.

Straight answers.
Online stores start at $5,900 in our public cost calculator, and that covers cart, checkout and a product catalog. The final cost depends mostly on how many products you have, how they vary, and any custom order rules. Your proposal is one fixed price.
Online stores typically take 6–10 weeks. The biggest variable is usually product information, so projects move fastest when your product list, photos, shipping rules and policies are ready before the build starts.
Choose Wix if you want to manage products yourself in a visual editor, and custom code if your ordering has rules a standard store can't handle. We build both and will recommend one once we know your products and who will run the store. Our Wix Studio vs. custom code guide goes further.
You will pay your platform or payment processor directly, separately from our build price, and those rates change, so we don't quote them here. Check the official pages for Wix plans and Stripe pricing. We can walk through what applies to your store during scoping.
Yes. Queen of the Nile sells gift cards in preset or custom amounts online, right next to its product shop.
Yes on a Wix store, where you manage products in a visual editor and we show you how at handoff. On a custom-coded store, updates go through a maintenance plan ($50 to $200 a month) unless we add a content management system to your build.
Yes, with a custom build. The Pinkelicious lunch box form enforces a 10-bag minimum, only offers delivery dates at least two days out, shows a live order summary and then hands off to Stripe's secure checkout.
No, plenty of retail sites do their job without selling online. A retail website can show current promotions, explain services and give hours and directions, then send people through the door. We can also add a small online catalog later if it makes sense.
